  • EVENTS TYPICALLY BOOK FULL 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE (apply early)

  • WE HAVE A FIRM CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY (see below)

  • SPACES WILL NO LONGER BE HELD FOR PAST DUE INVOICES

  • ONLY PRODUCTS DISCLOSED ON APPLICATION ALLOWED

  • SET UP TIME 8:30 AM

  • LATE ARRIVALS MUST BE COMMUNICATED (excessive lateness will effect future bookings)

OUR TERMS AND DISCLOSURES FOR OUR WEEKLY MARKETS:

  • THIS MARKET IS SPECIFICALLY CURATED TO OFFER A VARIETY OF LOCAL ART, HANDMADE & LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES

  • If approved, a confirmation email and invoice will be sent.

  • PAYMENT / DEPOSIT WILL BE DUE TO SECURE YOUR SPOT.

  • ONLY APPROVED PRODUCTS DISCLOSED ON YOUR APPLICATION ARE ALLOWED.

  • FEE MUST BE PAID TO BE INCLUDED ON OUR OFFICIAL VENDOR FLYER & SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOS (Past due invoices will be cancelled and released to next on waitlist)

  • Event promotion is required.

  • Booth sharing is not allowed.

  • Late arrivals must be communicated.

  • You must stay for the entire event

  • Your area must be left clean

  • NO REFUNDS

  • NO RESCHEDULES for No-Shows

  • At least 72 Hour Notice required for approved reschedules W/ a $25 reschedule additional fee PER DAY applied

  • Less than 72 hours notice forfeits fee

  • Late arrivals will effect future bookings at all Shop Local Events

  • NON PAYMENTS / CANCELLED INVOICES & NO SHOWS will be noted for future consideration.

  • CANCELLATIONS will cancel / effect extended payment arrangements for future dates.

  • You are responsible for reporting all your own SALES TAX.

  • A copy of your Sales Tax Certificate should be available if needed.

  • SNACKS / DESSERTS /FOOD VENDORS: Must obtain the required permits and or follow Home Cottage Laws according to the City Of Houston Regulations. 


    NO EXCEPTIONS- A COPY OF FOOD PERMITS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR OUR RECORDS

Waiver of Liability:


Vendors who do not have liability insurance coverage and wish to participate in the event must agree to a waiver releasing Shop Local Market LLC or Houston Farmers Market, its employees, representatives, and the event venue from any liability for injuries, occurrences, damages, or losses that may arise during their participation in the event.


By participating in the event, vendors agree to indemnify and hold Shop Local Market LLC or Houston Farmers Market, its employees, representatives, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of their participation in the event.
